WHO WE ARE

Mountain View Elementary’s Interactive Technology is a blended learning environment incorporating educational technology into instruction to support mastery of academic standards, facilitate student collaboration and increase access to curriculum. Student communication skills and exploration are nurtured through experiential and project-based learning activities. Expansion of critical thinking skills and creativity are encouraged in student-centered learning spaces, such as our Makerspace and classrooms with flexible seating. Cross-grade partnerships including STEM buddies promote a climate of kindness and a sense of belonging. All staff work together to develop best practices to ensure that ALL students learn at high levels in a safe and accepting environment that supports academic achievement, social emotional well-being and character development.
